If anyone wishes to send me corrections in this document, I'll do my best to correct it. I just don't have the time to do so, so just try to manage! In this walkthrough, I will use the following for to describe movement in the game map: "Walk n{N/W/E/S}" As 'n' is the number of screens to walk and N/W/E/S are North/West/East/South accordingly. While playing the game, type ZackIsBack to get your health status back up. 1. THE GARDEN You start the game at the parking in the wentrance to Mr. West's Mansion. Walk up to the guard and give him the invitation by selecting it and hitting CTRL. Walk 1E 1S . Pick up the earring on the ground, between the bushes. Walk 1S. Flip the two switches there. Walk 1S. Flip the switch. Walk 1W. Flip the switch. Walk 1S, flip the 2 switches. This is one of the entrances to the Garage. It is only opened from the inside, though, so you will first enter the garage from inside the mansion. Walk 2N. Flip the 2 switches. Walk 1N. Flip the switch near the smoke. Walk 2S, so you can pick up the gum. Then walk 1N and 1S to return to the same screen, without getting stuck where you got the gum at. Walk 1S. Flip the switch. Walk 1N 1E 3N, then 1E. There's a small pond and a couple there. Flip the switch. Then walk 1W 3S 1W 1S. Again the entrance to the garage. Flip the switch there. Walk 1N 1E. Flip the 2 switches. Walk 2N 1W. Flip the switch near the smokers. Walk 1E 1S, and then walk 1E to enter the Lobby. 2. THE LOBBY This is the Lobby of the West mansion. Talk to Howard Cohen in the lower right corner of the screen. He will give you a thesis, to be given to Prof. Allen. YOU HAVE TO BIND IT FIRST, before submitting it. Walk 1S. Talk to the waitress at the west of the screen and get the Brandy. Walk 1N 1E. Talk to the waitress. She will open the kitchen door for you. Walk 2W. Give the Brandy to the man sitting near the pond. It is Joseph Hudson. He will give you some company documents, and his business card. Walk 1E 1N. Give the company papers to Kate Kompton-Hudson at the top-left corner of the screen. She will give you her card. Give Josepsh Hudson's card to Jake Sing at the bottom-right corner of the screen. He will give you an MIT T-Shirt. Walk 1S, back to the entrance screen to the Lobby. Give Sandra Thompson Kate Komptom-Hudson's card. She will open the door to the Ladies' room. But you still need to do some more things before getting there. Walk 1W 2N 1W, and you're back in the parking lot, where you've started the game at. Give the T-Shirt to Jane Barnes at the top of the screen. She will give you a camera. Give the Gum to Valerie. She will give you the wrapper with her phone number on it. Walk 1E 2S 1E, and we're back at the Lobby. Walk 1S, give the phone number to Luke at the bottom of the screen. He will give you a rose. Give the earring to Irene Jamiesson near the entrance to the bathroom. She will convince the guard to let you in. Walk 1E and flip the switch. Walk 1W 1N 1E. Use the camera on Erik in the bottom-left corner of the screen. You will get his photo. Give the rose to Mike near the piano. A door will open inside the kitchen. Walk 1W 1N 1E. Now you're in the Kitchen. Get the carton of milk. Don't expect getting anything from the cook. Walk back 1W 1S 1E and give the milk to the waitress near the table. She will give you a granola bar. Give it to Rebecca near the piano. She will give you some moisturizing lotion. Walk 1W 1S 1E, back to the bathroom. Give the moisturizer to the woman standing outside the stall in the Ladies' room. You will get a deck of cards in return. Walk 1W 2N 1E. You're back in the kitchen. Walk 1N and enter the mansion. 3. THE MANSION Flip the two accessible switches in this screen. Ignore the Lamination machine. Walk 1E and flip the switch. Walk 1S and flip the 2 switches. In this screen there is the BINDING MACHINE to BIND Howard Cohen's thesis. It is not accessible yet, though. Walk 1N 1W. Flip the newly accessible switch. Walk 1S 1W back to the Lobby. Walk 1S 1W 1S. A new path is opened in the garden!!! Enter it by walking 2S. Flip the two switches and get the bird seed near the two blue birds. Walk 5N 1E. Give the bird seed to the couple by the pond. They will give you a cocktail umbrella. Enter the Lobby again by walking 1W 2S 1E 1N. Talk to Nathan at the top of the screen. Then give him the cocktail umbrella. Now his office will be open. Walk 1E 1N 1E. Enter Mr. West's office. Walk 1E. Access Nathan's computer. Uh Oh. 4. A CHANGE IN PLANS Walk 2W. Get the Purple key and flip the switch in the newly opened small room, in the top-left part of the screen. Walk 1E. Unlock the purple doors. Flip the switch. Walk 1W 1S. Enter the Kitchen's Storage Room. Flip the switch, get the RAG and the AIR FRESHENER. Walk 1W 1S 1W. You're back at the garden. Walk 1N 1W. Unlock the purple doors and use the air freshener on the smokers. They will give you a lighter. Walk 1E 1S 1E and you're back at the Lobby. Walk 1N 1E 1N. Now you're back in the mansion. Walk 1E 1S. Now the book binder is accessible. Use the unbound thesis on it. Now you have the binded work! Also, flip the switches. Walk 1N 1W 1S 1W and give the binded work to Prof. Allen. He will give you a pipe cleaner in exchange. Walk 1E 1N 1E 2S. This is the living room. Unlock the purple doors at the bottom of the screen. Walk 1S and flip the switch there. Walk 1S 1E and flip the 2 switches there. Walk 1W 1N. Flip the switch there. Walk 1S 1E 1N 1E 2N. This is the back garden. Flip the switch there. Walk 1N again, and flip the switch there as well. Walk 3S 1W 1N. This is the room of Mr. and Mrs. West. Flip the switch there. Walk 3S and give Erik's picture to Jenna. She will give you a love poem in exchange. Wlak 1W 1N and enter the top-right room in the screen. Walk 1N in it. Get the BIBLE. Walk 1S and exit the room. Walk 1S 2W and flip the switch there, just outside the Library. Walk 2E 1N 1E 1N. On the left of the screen there's Yan's room. Yan is Mr. West's son. Enter the room, pick up the SLING SHOT, flip the 2 switches, and give the rag to the cleaner. She will ask the other cleaner to open the door to Michelle's (Mr. West's daughter) room. Walk 2N. Enter the room, and flip the switch there. Walk 3S. This is the music room. Flip the switch there and talk to Michelle. She will give you notes. Walk back 3N and give the notes to the cleaner in Michelle's room. She will open a door inside Michelle's room, on the left of the screen. Walk through it 1W and flip the 2 switches there. Walk back 1E and exit Michelle's room. Walk 4S 3W. Walk 1N to enter the Library. Flip the switch and grab the Romance Novel and the "Big Brother" book. On the right of the screen notice the odd-looking book on the library shelf. Use it by pressing Spacebar and it will open a door for you somewhere. Walk 1S 2E 3N. Again, the living room. Flip the switch and give the novel to the Nanny. She will open a door for you somewhere. Walk 2S. Enter the room on the left of the screen. Flip the switch there and take the magnetic pass card. Walk 1S. There are two doors to the south. Walk 1S through the right door, flip the switch there, and wlak 1N again. Now walk 1S through the left door. Walk 1W and flip the switch there. Walk 1W again and flip the switch there too. Walk 1W and flip the two switches there. This is the back entrance to the garage. 5. THE GARAGE Walk 1E 1N. Flip the switch in the room. Walk 1E. Flip the switch in the top-left room. Walk to the room that connects to it 1W and flip the switch there as well. Walk 1E. Exit the room. Walk 1W 1S 1W. You're back in the garage. Flip the switch there and walk 1S. Flip the switch in the acid room as well. Walk 1W. Flip the switch there. Walk 1N. Flip the switch there. Also, take the wrench. It is well-hidden on the asphalt. Walk 1N. Flip the 2 switches. Now the entry one screen north to the garage, that we originally knew, is open. Don't go there now. Walk 2S 1E and flip the switch in the chemicals room. Walk 1N 1E through the lower exit, to the garden, through the mid-right of the screen. Walk 1S, flip the switch between the flowers. Walk 1S and do the same. Walk 2N 1W 1S, and then walk 1S through the door in the chemicals room. Search through the uniform on the table on the top-right of the screen and get the militia member card. Enter the room on the bottom right to flip a switch and get the ORANGE KEY. Use the member card on the Communication Kit and watch towers 3 and 4 will be opened for you. From the communication rom inside the garage, walk 2N. Walk 1E back to the garden through the lower exit. 6. THE INDOOR GARDEN Walk 3S 1W. Open the Orange doors. Flip the switch and walk 1W again and flip the switch inside Watch Tower 1. Walk 1N to the garage. Flip the switch. Walk 1S 4E open the organe doors. Walk 1E. Give the "Big Brother" book to the guard in the watch tower. He will open the "Group's Library" for you. It is inside the Academy. Walk 2E 1N 2E. Flip the switch in Watch Tower 3. Walk 2W 1S 1W. Now it is a good time to go back to the bathroom in the Lobby of the mansion. The directions are: Walk 3N. Open the Orange doors. Enter the indoor pool by walking 1N. Walk 2N. Open the Orange doors and enter the mansion by walking 1W. Walk 3N. Open the Purple doors. Walk 2W 1S to the kitchen. Walk 1W back to the Lobby. Walk 2S and 1E and enter the bathroom. Open the Purple and Orange Doors on the bottom right of the screen. Walk 1S and flip the 2 switches. Now get on your own to the Living room, where the Nanny is at. Walk 3S 1W. Flip the switch there. Walk 1E 1S through the right door. Open the Orange doors. Walk 1E. Flip the switch there. Walk 2E. This is the entrance to Mr. West's Labyrinth. We will be back there again later on in the game. Walk 1N. Flip the switch. Walk 1N again, and flip the switch in the small building. Walk 1E. Flip the switch. Walk 1E again. Flip the switch and give the lighter to the guard in watch tower 4. He will open for you a door inside the Labyrinth. Walk 2N, then to the left of the screen, and then 1S until you reach the switch. Flip it and go back 2N. 7. THE KIDS Give the sling-shot to the kid near Watch Tower 5 (this is Yan, Nathan's son). He opens a path for you somewhere. Walk 1W and give the love poem to the kid. He will give you a Yoyo in return. Walk 1W and flip the switch between the garbage cans. Walk 1W. Open the Orange Doors. Walk 2S. 8. THE SERVANTS' LIVING QUARTERS This is the entrance to the servant's living quarters. Enter it by walking 1E 1N and flip the switch in the room. Walk 2S and flip the switch there. Walk 1E and flip the switch. We will get back here later on in the game. Now go back to the entrance to the Labyrinth on your own. Now walk 3W 1N and flip the switch and get the towel inside the bathroom. Walk 1E and get the reel of film from the film storage. Walk 1W 1S through the right exit. Walk 1W, open the Orange Door. Walk 1S. Flip the switch. This switch will enable you to go back easily to the room that connects to the bathroom in the Lobby. Walk 1N 3E 1N and you're in the indoor swimming pool. Give the towel to the guy there. He will open the locker room for you. Walk 1N and get the soap there. Walk 1E (open the orange door) and then walk 2E 3N and use the bar of soap on the girl. This way you will get her ring. Go back to the entrance to the Labyrinth. Walk 1S flip the switch there. Walk 1S 1W 1S and flip the switch there as well. Walk back to the entrance to the Labyrinth. Walk 2N 1W 2N 1E. This is again the Servants' quarters. Walk 1S 1E and flip the switch. Walk 1W 2N 1E and flip the switch. Walk 1W 1S 1W. We're back in the garden! Now go back to the gardener. Remember where he was? If not, go back to the entrance to the Lobby from the garden. Then walk 2S. Flip the switch there and give the ringto the Gardener. He opens a path behind the Servants' quarters. Walk 1S and flip the switch there as well. Walk 2N 1W 2S to enter the Garage. Flip the switch in the bottom-left part of the screen. Walk 2S 1E1S, and then 1W through the lower door, near the door with the "FIRST AID" sign. Then take some medical kits and flip the switch there. Now walk 1E 1N 1W 2N and flip the switch in the top-right room, which lies among all the medical kits. Now go to the screen that you enter the Library from. Walk 2E and flip the switch in the washroom. Walk 1W 1N and yippie! This is the Lobby's bathroom back room, and all the doors are open! Flip that far-far fetched switch inside, on the bottom left of the screen. 9. THE TRAIN MECHANIC Get back to the entrance to the Servants' living quarters (stand in the garden). Walk 2N 2E. Flip the switch. Walk 1E. Flip the switch in Watch Tower 5. Walk 1S. Flip the switch. Walk 1N 2W and give the Yoyo to the kid. He opens you the door to the train Mechanic. Walk 2E 3S and give the Mechanic the Wrench. He will open the LABYRINTH for you. Get to the entrance to the Labyrinth: 1S 2W 2S. 10. THE LABYRINTH Now you're at the entrance to the Labyrinth. Enter it by walking 1E. Flip the switch. Walk 1N. Walk 1S from the lower-right path, and then 1N along this path (in a U-Shape). Walk 1E and then walk 1S from the second path south from the left. Then walk 1S from the right-most path. Now take the TURQUOISE KEY from the bottom-right corner of the screen. Walk 1W and flip the switch. Now you're done here. Get out of the Labyrinth. From now and on the game gets easy.
